Yes, we have bulk herbs!

I was talking to a customer and she said that she wished we had bulk herbs. I thought she was joking because we have a very large supply of bulk single herbs. So if you aren’t aware, we have bulk herbs in cut and powder, in 4 oz., 8 oz and 16 oz sizes. The bulk herbs are either Organic or Wild crafted, so you know they are the best you can get. I love that they come in a resealable mylar bag, which makes it so easy to use. When my Dad passed away he had a lot of supplements, so I boxed them up and brought them home to see if there was anything usable. I picked up a bottle of "x" brand immune booster formula and looked at the ingredients and couldn’t believe my eyes! This formula consisted of rice bran and Shiitake Mushroom. First off I couldn’t imagine what use the rice bran had other than a filler when I noticed that there was a list of “other ingredients” such as corn starch which is used as a thickener, microcrystalline cellulose which is wood pulp, sucrose fatty acid ester an emulsifier and titanium dioxide a colorant. All of this stuff is FDA approved for food use, but why would you add “fillers” to an herbal product? I'm wondering how much Shiitake Mushroom was really in there, this product has more fillers than herbs! This formula is going right into the garbage.
