Amazing right? It
sounds like Olive Leaf would be good for a lot of people. I originally bought
the 4 oz. bottle of Western Botanicals Olive Leaf extract, and also got a pound
of the cut herb and made up a bunch on my own extract to refill my bottle. It
is easy to make an extract and save money over buying it prepared. For people
that need their money to go further this is a great option. Olive leaf is
available in capsules, extract 2 oz. and 4 oz, and bulk cut and powder, 4 oz, 8
oz. and 16 oz. sizes (scroll down on link and select size and type wanted).
After pouring the alcohol over the herb, the jar is tightly covered. Shake the jar for a minute or two each day. At the end of two weeks, strain the tincture through cheesecloth, a jelly bag, or a coffee filter. If you happen to have a wine press, you could use that. "It is best to put up one's tincture on the new moon and strain it off on the full moon so that the drawing power of the waxing moon will help extract the herbal properties". Store herbal tinctures in dark glass bottles away from heat and light.
At Herbs First we have bulk herbs from Acai to Yucca root and almost everything in between. Feel free to call me if you have any questions and to place and order 801-228-1901.
