Do you prefer Melaleuca or Tea Tree Oil?

The species name of Tea Tree oil is Melaleuca alternifolia, so that was a trick question – they are one in the same!

Garden Essence Tea Tree OIl    We have a niece and her friend visiting with us, they came out for a church sponsored youth week. We picked them up from the event on Saturday and Jessie (not her real name) asked me if we had a doctor or nurse in our church. I asked why and she said showed me the worst infected zit I have ever seen. It was sitting under her glasses at the side of her nose, so luckily the glasses did a good job of hiding it!

She had gone to the nurse the night before who had put a glob of Neosporin on it, and from the looks I could tell that it was quite painful. I mentioned that I would use Tea Tree oil on it in which my niece replied that they use that all the time at home. I had taught them about it quite a few years ago when my brother-in-law ended up in the hospital for a few days when a bug bite went haywire, turning into blood poisoning running up his leg!

When we got back to the house I gave Jessie the Tea Tree oil to put on the zit. By morning it was much improved, the swelling was at least half way down and was no longer oozing pus. Today, Monday it was scabbing over and the swelling another halfway down from the day before. I should think by the time Saturday rolls around and they head back home that it will be completely healed.

Tea Tree oil is anti-fungal, antibacterial, antibiotic, anti-microbial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory – what a list and what a great oil! I bought the 2 oz. bottle back in 2011 and we are on the last little bit of it. We have really gotten our monies worth out of it over the years, and in looking at the issues that other people have dealt with and the costs involved, the few dollars spent on a bottle is well worth it!

My niece has some acne, so I made her a roller bottle with Tea Tree Oil, Lavender and Frankincense, mixed with Nature's Way Liquid Coconut Oil. Tea Tree oil helps the pours to stay clean due to all of its properties. Lavender reduces redness and helps blemishes recover faster. Frankincense helps to reduce the appearance of scars, controls sebum production, and tones skin. I’m excited to hear how it works for her.

Garden Essence Oils, affordable and easy to use!

Garden Essence Oils Tea Tree Oil    When I first heard about Tea Tree Oil in the 70’s it was like the miracle cure for everything. You could buy it everywhere and could use it to take care of so many problems, the big ones being infections and fungus. In the past few years we are hearing of so many people getting an infection and going into the hospital, and when they aren’t able to get things under control with medications then they end up losing their limbs. I’m pretty tired of hearing about this happening when likely if they had treated the problem at home with Tea Tree Oil, aka Melaleuca, they would be whole today.

Sometimes I will cut my thumb when I prepare vegetables for our meals. I nicked it the other night, it bled a little bit, I washed it and kept making dinner. A few hours later after getting the dishes done it was hurting, so I put a drop of Tea Tree oil on it. It immediately stopped hurting and I put some Complete Tissue and Bone ointment on it and went to bed. In the morning it looked and felt great, I only had to trim a small piece of dried skin and it has healed just fine.

With all of the companies that are selling essential oils people are getting more curious about them. We have great pricing on the Garden Essence Oils and since they are not network marketed you are only paying for the oils and not multiple levels of people involved in the network.

Essential oils are affordable, have a long shelf life and are easy to use. Essential oils should always be used with a carrier oil, so a small bottle may seem expensive, but when you use only 10 drops in a 10 ml roller bottle filled with carrier oil you can see how the bottle of pure oil will last a long time. Use 30 drops in the 1 oz. roller bottles, or if you re-use the essential oil bottles, a 15 ml bottle would need 15 drops of pure oil.  More tips on using oils.

Advanced Therapy Diffuser    Diffusing is a great way to use essential oils to treat the whole family. In the winter we diffuse X-Plague blend which contains oils that are very highly anti-viral and antiseptic, and smell so good too. Diffuse Orange oil when the kids come home from school. Orange is antiseptic & bactericidal which will help keep them healthy, and is also anti-depressant so I call it the happy oil, which is helpful when it is time for homework and chores.

If you are new to oils just buy a few bottles and start using them. My favorite carrier oil is the fractionated coconut oil, the Nature’s Way 20 oz bottle is our best deal. Buy a six-pack of 10 ml. roller bottles and 2 pack of one ounce bottles and look through the oils and see what would be helpful to your family. Start using them and start stocking up so you have what you need. It is very empowering to be able to take care of yourself and your family.

Tea Tree Oil to the Rescue!

Over the past few months I have had a strange problem with the inside of my
cheeks. It hurt like a canker hurts, but was just about the entire cheek on both sides of the inside of my mouth. My cheeks looked a bit red and not really like a canker, just felt like a huge one. I started out with taking l-Lysine which is what usually helps for cankers, and it cleared up for a while but then came back. It burned incredibly when I ate any fresh foods such as tomatoes, strawberries, oranges, etc. Not fun at all.

I have used Tea Tree Oil in the past for cankers, so I started just putting a drop or two on my toothbrush at night. Tea Tree Oil is the essential oil from the Australian plant Melaleuca alternifolia. This oil is anti-fungal, antibacterial, antibiotic, anti-microbial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory. Tea Tree Oil should be in any home and used for any infection or skin problem that crops up, so in this case a good one to try.

Tea Tree OilTea Tree Oil really isn’t a tasty option, but I was clueless what the problem was, so decided to give it a whirl. First thing I noticed after a few days is that my teeth looked whiter. My two eye teeth have always been a bit darker in color than my other teeth, but now they are all the same color. I haven’t bleached my teeth, so they are just a nice clean natural color that I am now very happy with. I have had to continue with the Tea Tree Oil on my toothbrush nightly, but after about a month the insides of my cheeks finally cleared up.

I have also had a funny bumpy spot on my elbow that I have used Tea Tree Oil on, as well as other oils, all the ointments, etc. I quit messing with it a few weeks ago, got tired of nothing working, but the Tea Tree Oil that I was getting internally through brushing my teeth and having it in my mouth finally did the trick. It has almost cleared up and by the looks of it should be back to normal in the next few days.

Tea Tree Oil is a great little oil to have on hand, I keep the 2 oz bottle in the house and the 15 ml. for the travel kit. You
can really get your money’s worth out of a bottle, well worth it to have when you need it.

I love natural medicine. I can try things on myself that cost very little, and if they don’t work they don’t hurt you. More often than not, they work and we save ourselves a lot of time and money by taking care of ourselves at home.
